Our mission, here at First Baptist Church of Hohenwald, is to be a fellowship which encounters and responds to the presence of God through worship; which provides guidance for the application of biblical truths; which seeks to win the lost to faith in the Savior; and which ministers to the needs of people in love and compassion in the name of Jesus Christ.
We affirm the Holy Bible as the inspired word of God and the basis for our beliefs. This church subscribes to the doctrinal statement of "The Baptist Faith and Message" as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention.
We voluntarily join ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ, personally committed to sharing the Good News of salvation to lost mankind through obedience to Christ's commission as stated in Matthew 28:19-20.
